Activity Forums VEGAS Pro Freeze-Frame Question

  • Freeze-Frame Question

When I want to “freeze-frame” in Vegas7, I have to enlarge the track height in order to precisely control the “velocity” to “0”. With my typical track height, I can only control the velocity setting to “something close” to zero.

Is there an easier way to freeze-frame where I can just manually enter the value of zero for velocity?

I do this often and my current process is pretty cumbersome.

    Thanks!

Right-click the velocity point, choose “Set To…” and type in 0.

Thank you, Edward. I see that now. Previously, I had been splitting off the last frame, then manually pulling the velocity bar down to zero.

Your method is much better. No splitting. Just set two points–second one to zero. I hadn’t realized that the “points” had the option of entering the numberic value of zero.

    Thanks!
