freeze frame de-interlace
i have freeze frames at the end an fcp DVPAL sequence. we mix through from the freeze frame to an animated graphic created in after effects. the freeze frames need to be de-interlaced so it is a frame freeze, not a field freeze. this is to stop field juddering. the de-interlace filter in fcp offers upper (odd), lower (even), and various flicker modes. the footage is dv pal so therefore lower field first. what setting should the de-interlace fields drop down be?
