Free/cheap audio mixing software for MAC
Hi All,
I’m currently working on a short film as sound mixer (I started of as recordist and as usual with doing stuff for free, the original mixer bailed) and have run into some problems. Mainly the producers are not willing to supply me with a ProTools setup, and have kinda made it my problem to find a solution.So my first port of call was Audacity, having used it in Uni to mix some very rough demo tracks. Unfortunately I found you can’t import vision, so I was hoping someone knew of a plugin or work around so I can make that work.
Otherwise does anyone know of any other free/cheap mixing software for the MAC?

do you need to import an omf from a video edit system.
if so, you will need something better than a free app.
