    Hey all,

Slow motion, speed up and variable speed (time remapping) software that uses motion estimation can be a very difficult topic to get your head wrapped around. Due to overwhelming demand, we have developed tutorials that explain the concepts of retiming and motion estimation with respect to Twixtor.

And the good new is: THESE TUTORIALS ARE FREE.

    Twixtor Basics
Tutorials for After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro and combustion.

These tutorials explain the basics of Twixtor and why you’d want to use motion estimation in order to time “warp” your clips. Also explained are concepts that will help you figure out how to set up Twixtor and which settings to tweak in order to get the best results. Included in the basics tutorials are sample projects, sample clips and explanations tailored for each for each of the four applications.

You can download the tutorials from here: https://www.revisionfx.com/rstwixtortutorials.htm
You can read more about Twixtor here: https://www.revisionfx.com/rstwixtor.htm
Note that we still have our sample projects available for the more advanced features found in Twixtor Pro.

Be forewarned, the tutorial package is huge (217Mb). Please note that we do not have the resources to mail physical copies of the tutorials to you.
