Free Run Timecode in HDV footage is not captured
Hi,
I searched and found no answer to this in the forums.
When capturing HDV footages in Sony Vegas 7, the timecode that is clearly recorded onto the HDV tape is not what is captured into the M2T files. All timecode in the files resets to zero.
Anybody knows a solution for capturing the proper timecodes? Without this, it is very difficult to sync footages. Perhaps somebody knows of another software/script that can capture M2T files from a camera, WITH the proper timecodes?
Any help is more than appreciated.

I’m not an HDV user but I keep reading about how folks are very happy with HDVSplit.
It’s free so you have nothing to lose.
