Free “Logic Remote” book
Here is something interesting for all the FCPx user who use Logic for their audio work.
Apple released a little iPad app “Logic Remote” along with the new Logic Pro X.And now, the first book is available for this app. I released it in my popular “Graphically Enhanced Manuals” series. The title is “Logic Remote – How it Works” and the pdf version is available for free on my website for a limited time.
The book is also available as printed book (Amazon) and multi-touch eBook (iBookstore)

Thank you for this free book. I must say your graphically enhanced manuals are really good!
I have been using the Logic Remote app for some test runs and IMO it’s the best controller on iPad I have ever had in my hands. Beats any current controller software for FCPX by miles. Although I find I still edit faster using a keyboard I hope Apple eventually creates a similar app for FCPX.

Agreed. An iPad app as a control surface for FCPX audio mixing, colour correction would be the bees knees!
