Frameserved Sony Vegas mpeg causes sync issues when authoring DVD from it

I have problems with a frameserved file from Vegas. I rendered a project from Vegas with HCEnc by the help of Debugmode Frameserver. I rendered it as mpeg, because I want to burn it on DVD. The mpeg itself plays fine on all devices, has very good quality, plays without framedrops, etc… But, when I author a DVD from it, problems arise. The problem is: when I play the DVD from an external USB DVD drive with BSPlayer on one of my computers, the DVD audio video is in sync. But when I play the same DVD from the same external drive with BSplayer on my another laptop, the DVD audio becomes out of sync. And this goes similarly if I try other softwares and players. On my standalone DVD player the audio is out of sync, but when I play it on a third laptop on the internal DVD drive with Windows media player, it is in sync.
It seems to me the DVD created from the mentioned rendered file is not compatibile with some codecs on some platforms. Can you suggest a way to make it compatibile on all platforms? I have factory DVD’s that play fine every way. I just don’t know what is different in ther coding that makes this possible? Maybe I should set a padding for the audio, that some drives will consider, but some will skip, thus ensuring the playback will be in sync on all devices and softwares?
The same problem happens in case I render the file from Sony Vegas directly. It is just the amout of delay that is different when the audio falls out of sync.
Let me emphasize again this problem arises when the rendered file is authored to a DVD. When the mpeg file is played itself, the playback is good.

Have you used DVDA to author the DVD? Where had you produced the two files? The MPEG2 and the AC2?

No, I didn’t use DVDA.
The mpeg2 video: I rendered the project choosing Debugmode Frameserver, and opened the frameserver generated avi in HCEnc. Then HacEnc rendered it as an m2v file.
The sound: I rendered it directly from Vegas, for the same timeline selection. I exported it as ac3. In case I export it as mp3, the muxers don’t recognize it mp3 what Vegas creates. And there seem to have no other options. I also tried rendering audio as aif, converting it to wav, and mux that. That doesn’t solve the sync problem on some devices either in case DVD burning.
Afterwards I muxed the files and imported it to the authoring software. Or I imporrted the two separate files, it depends.
I also tried frameserving the sound, but I can only do that in 44.1khz and it did’t help either.
In HCEnc I can select several presets for the video Matrix setting. Do you think changing that might help? Ar the moment it is on MPEG, but there is also MPEG Standard, etc…
Also, I noticed that DVD’s that has no problem playing in any circumstance have a delay time set. It appears as “Delay relative to video” in Mediainfo. It is a negative value. I wonder if I would set it, problems could be solved? I just seem to find no DVD authoring software that sets it. The ones I tested only cut the sound when you add a delay, and not saving the delay as a preference parameter for the file. I wondered whether some players need this delay, and some omit them, thus guaranteeing playbac in sync on all platforms.
