  • Frames shift when rendering Flash swf file

Hi everyone, perhaps someone can help me with a problem I am having consistently in After Effects CS3.

I have a Flash swf file that is rendered in AE composition on top of some backgrounds into an AVI file.

After rendering, I create another project and put there the same swf file and the rendered AVI side by side. What happens is that at random intervals the AVI file seems to loose or gain one frame. I end up having to use two copies of the AVI file and flip from one to another using opacity keyframes in order to synchronize with the Flash file.

Does anyone know why this may be happening? I am completely baffled.

    Thanks,
    Alex.
