    Hello all.

I’m editing a feature and we’re moving the final video to sync up with the final audio, but something goes wrong when we copy and paste the footage. Every other clip has a frame of black in between it and a lot of times, I can not extend a clip to fill the gap. I’ve been making cuts in the 5.1 audio tracks to disguise the problem but it is verrrry tedious. Anybody know how to solve this problem so there is not a frame of black in between everey other clip?

There is a mis-match with your FRAME RATES. The sequence you copied from is not the same frame rate as the one you copied to. So you might have gone from 23.98 into a 29.97 timeline, or the other way around. Check and make sure that your Sequence settings match EXACLY.

sounds like you’re copy/pasting from a 23.98 sequence into 30fps…. or visa versa

    EDIT: what Shane said
