    Hi folks,
Sure hope you can throw light on this one.

I’ve just completed a short which I shot on 35mm at the standard 24fps. This film had sync. sound. When I got the telecine done it was converted to 25fps for more ease of use in my studio set up. After top and tailing what I need and getting a picture lock I then exported the quicktime file so as I could import it into my Protools set up (i’m using LE 6.4).

I then import the DAT masters which the recordist did and to be expected they do not sync up because one is at 24fps and the other at 25fps. How do I change the audio to now work at 25fps.

I’ve tired the TCE tool in protools but it very hit and miss and actualy makes the voices sound a bit flangy.

IS there a more scientific rock solid way – or have I gone about thsi the wrong way?

    Any thoughts wouldbe VERY appreciated.

    joe
