  framerate truncation upon render (never at 29.97, always 26.98)

  hi there

  i’m getting this aggravating problem where i would like to output standard 720×480 video at 29.97 fps, but premiere is constantly outputing the video at some other framerate (like 26.98 23.22, etc) that was not assigned. I’m assigning the framerate to be 29.97, quicktime files at 720×480 to burn to DVD.

  any thoughts on this? could it be the compression method?
