so i have been working on a project in 1080 that contains a bunch of AE generated elements as well as some SD footage that has been scaled both larger and smaller all at 29.97

finally delivery is to be DNxHD 1080i at 59.94

i dont want to render fields in to the graphic elements as it would then look to “videoy” (this is a very high tech term)

im thinking my best bet is to set each 29.97 comp to preserve frame rate when nested, then place them in to 59.94 comps and then render.

i did a quick test on a 6:10 (sec:frm) piece and when i import it and place it over the original it looks like everything matches, though it is saying that it is now 6:11

some of the comps will be 8 mins long and i dont want to run in to problems down the road

    any tips?
