Recently, I’ve had the need to create a a single file from a DPX sequence. I started fiddling with framelink but then in the 5.4 drivers, Framelink would reboot the workstation without warning upon choosing thw desired frame size from the drop down menu. Anyone have a similar experience?

    Workstation Specs:

    Dual Xeon
    SuperMicro X6DA8-G2
    2GB RAM
    Decklink Extreme
    5.6 drivers

    Thanks

    Hi Adrian,

Have you tried the latest driver to see if this is still happening? The latest driver can be found here:

    https://blackmagic-design.com/support/software/

Windows should have some kind of log located in:

    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson.

There should be a text file called Drwtsn32.log

Please delete the file, attempt to replicate the problem again and if you succeed, the file will be re-created. Please send this file to us via our support email address: support[at]blackmagic-design.com

    Thanks.

    regards
