I’d like the Blackmagic folks to comment on possible support for Newtek Lightwave 3D framebuffer previews after a render is complete. I’m sold on buying the card, except for this one area, mainly because Lightwave is where I spend 90% of my time. Matrox, Bluefish, Leitch, and Canopus all support Lightwave framebuffer previews. Based on what I can find it’s just a plugin for Lightwave, so when you click Lightwave’s “Render Options” you can select how to view the final rendered image via the drop-down list. This would be so wonderful if Blackmagic would develop the plugin as I could get tue 720×486 NTSC views of my work. I think with the sheer popularity of the Decklink cards it would be a welcomed addition in the Lightwave community as most of us do not buy Video Toasters.

Thanks, I look forward to hearing from someone! 🙂

    Regards,
    MarkH
