frame size nubie question
Hello.
I already have seen this tutorial: https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/391/94
the only thing I understood from it, is that Fusion determines frame size by the backgroud image. Whatever the image size, that’s would be the comp size.
For me it’s very confusing, I got used to After Effect logic, which is to set comp size apart from the sources, and that size is permanent no matter what I put into the composition. So I have a couple of questions, the first is: how can I force fusion to “lock” particular frame size despite the image size?
For example I need an animated BG. The comp suppose to be 1920*1080 and the BG image is 4096*1080, obviously under such circumstances the image has to
go out of frame, this will allow me to animate it moving from one side to another. But in case of Fusion, once I piped the image to the project the whole frame have been resized…If Fusion always change frame size on the fly, depending on images and footages I bring in, how can I make sure that on the final render I will get proper resolution that I need? And if my final resolution is smaller than the sources, how do I control where the cropping boundaries will be?
Thanks in advance
Artem
