  frame rate of quicktimes doesn’t match capture frame rate

  Hello, capturing HDSDI with a Blackmagic card at “Blackmagic 23.98 Apple ProRes 422.” After capturing, revealing file, opening that file in QT and getting info, the frame rate does not equal 23.98. Instead I am seeing a wide range 23.88-23.99. The initial problem was that the frame rate was much lower–around 14-20fps. I believe that was due to a failing disk. After replacing the disk, I am now within the hundredths, but still not spot on. Is this usual?

  I have tried capturing to faster drives (an internal striped RAID), reinstalling FCP, and the decklink drivers.

  Still not getting 23.98 like we were before…
