Can anyone suggest a way to change the frame rate of a clip in the timeline. I want to create that ‘jerky’ look when a 25 (in my case) frame rate is played back at 8 or 12 frames – but not slowed down – so frames are repeated.

I have a number of plug ins but can’t seem to find one that achieves this (BCC and Natress Box of Tricks).

I guess I could also go out to AE and re-render – but this seems a long way round.

    Thanks,

    Ken.

That would be the strobe filter, its included in FCP as Video Filters–Video–Strobe.

Star! Thanks – tried so many – but of course not that one…

    Cheers,

You can also look for Posterize Time or Time lapse if you got other plugins.
