Yes I know I’m cutting something shot on a phone. There are festivals for these things now so one of my favorite directors gave me the project.
Strange thing is the phone which shoots 3840 x 2160 has decided to fluctuate the frame rate between clips. I get 29.97, 29.99 30.01 and 30.00fps sporadically throughout. I now know this is a thing that phones do so what the best fix. I was told Media Encoder will assume a fixed rate. Handbrake and video share converter ultimate both insist of rescaling it to 1920.

I am at a loss anyone?

AME does not fix the framerate. Handbrake does: convert to constant framerate.
