    Hi guys,

We shot some footage at 120fps on an iPhone. I then converted it from H264 to ProRes HQ 422 in MPEG Streamclip. Then in FCP7, I viewed it in Cinema Tools and conformed the 120fps footage to 24fps. Pretty standard.

The issue I have right now it that every 8th frame or so, a frame is doubled. Not the smooth 120fps footage but some clunky, jagged playback.

Do any of you have any work arounds for this specific issue?

    Any help would be great,
    Odille

Scroll through that iPhone footage…do you see any repeated frames there? Might be tougher as it’s more frames, and less difference between frames…

    Hi Shane,

It’s hard to tell but it looks like there are repeated frames. I tried taking them out individually but it doesn’t look much better.
Is there any way to fix this?

I’m fully embracing the clunky nature/general crappiness of the iPhone camera. I would just like to fix this one issue.
Has anyone had any luck with plugins like Duplicate Frame Remover?

    Alright.
    Thanks Dave!
