Frame Rate Conflict Found
I am trying to down convert an HD timeline to SD. Regardless of which DV setting I chose – DV NTSC 48kHz, DVNTSC 48kHz 23.98, DVNTSC 48kHz Anamorphic – I always get a “Frame Rate Conflict Found” error. If chose to continue with the down convert, the preset I select is ignored and the original frame rate is retained. Since the original preset is DVCPro HD 720p60 with a video rate of 59.94 fps, the SD timeline becomes DV/DVCPro – NTSC with a video rate of 59.94 fps. When outputting the down converted timeline to a tape via Firewire the deck only sees the frame of video that the playhead is parked on, however the audio is playing back fine.
I suspect it is the 59.94 video rate that is causing this. Can anyone confirm or refute this? Also, what solutions are there to getting an SD converted timeline to output to tape via FW?
