Frame rate changing on import
OK, this is a first for me. I have the HPX 170 and usually shoot my projects in 720 24p. I import the footage via a Duel Adapter using the P2CMS software. Everything works great. I then import them into FCP and no problems. I check the properties and the .mov says 720 24p, all good.
So, I decide to shoot a new project in 1080 24p and problems are occurring on import. I set the HPX at 1080 24p, I even see it on the display, but when I import it off the card into FCP the mov file is saying 29.97 and not 24p. Ive checked the camera twice and the settings are correct.
anyone got any ideas as to why this is happening? Thanks.

To get 23.98 at 1080 you need to shoot 1080i 24pA, and then check the ADVANCED PULLDOWN REMOVAL when you import with Log and Transfer. If you shot 1080 24p, then it will only import at 29.97.

When you shoot 720p24, hopefully you are shooting 720 24pn. This will give you more record time on the P2 cards.
