  Frame rate changes – what exactly happens

  I’m shooting 1080/50i and am burning my project as 1080/24p (because its 3D footage) to to BluRay. Can anyone tell me what exactly happens in the conversion process? – I can understand the 50i to 25p process but not what going on when it goes to 24p, I’m sure its not just dropping a frame 🙂
