Frame out of place after render
This is my first post on Creative Cow so please bear with me. Thank you in advance for any input.
I am using Premiere Pro CS6 (more details on my video files below). The problem I am running into is where the last frame of each clip is getting stuck to the first frame of the next clip. It seems to have started happening after the first time I rendered the sequence for playback.
To describe the issue a little more: I add multiple clips to my timeline and render for playback. I decide that I want to change the order or length of the clips so I do. When I play back again, the last frame of any clip I moved or shortened is now a part of the first frame of the clip it preceded before. To fix the issue I have had to cut off the first frame of the problem clips.
I am using GoPro Protune footage (sequence setting match) – 1920 x 1080 (1.0), 23.967 fps, H.264, mp4. I know that H.264 is not an intermediate codec but I have edited with it before and never had this problem (was using FCP 5.1). I think that typically people run this footage through Cineform and use that converted file type for editing. I had never used that codec before and prior to editing I tried it and was having issues playing back the footage outside of Premiere so I decided to just work with the original GoPro footage (working on a short time frame and I didn’t want to run into major issues down the road).
At this point I am assuming that the footage is causing the problem. I have had another issue where certain effects (blur) don’t keyframe properly and so I have to use adjustment layers as a workaround. If it is a simple conversion prior to editing then great (I will do that next time). Any insight or tips on how to avoid this problem in the future would be appreciated!

Please post a screen capture. Is frame blending disabled?

I don’t have frame blend checked for any of the clips in my timeline. Is this what you are referring to?
