Frame offset for external monitor
Hello, longtime FCP user here learning Premiere 5.5.
Just wondering if someone could point in the the right direction in getting a frame delay for my external monitor?
I am running a Blackmagic decklink SDI card – in FCP I needed a 6 frame frame offset so that the computer monitor, external monitor and audio would all stay in sync.
At the moment in Premiere my external monitor is lagging behind the computer monitor by 6 frames – is there a setting in Premiere that lets be do a frame offset like in FCP? I can’t seem to find it so I thought I’d ask.

I’m not 100% sure – I don’t have a Blackmagic card – but under Premiere Pro>Preferences> Player Settings you should be able to specify the BM card – and that’s where you’d likely find an offset.

I just had a look -but there appears to be no option for frame offset.I might send adobe a feature request – and also ask blackmagic as maybe it could be something on their end?
