    Hello Everyone,

my friend and me are creating an animation movie with handdrawn characters(graphic board directly to pc). We made it on 12 Frames per second. My question is now:

Is there any other Frame interpolation Method in After Effects than Pixel-Motion and Frame Mix?

Our aim is to interpolate from 12 Frames to 24 Frames per second.

    Thank you!
    Greetings
    Martin

If you’re using frame blending, then those are your two options: frame mix and pixel motion.

If you want much more precise control, then use the Timewarp effect, which allows you to very finely control the motion estimation and other aspects of pixel motion.
