  Frame flickering on Blackmagic23.98 playback? Bug in FCP5/tiger/Driver5?

  I am getting a flickering problem on playback. It looks like whatever frame the timline was stopped on is displayed every other frame with the playback. Never saw this in 10.3.9/FCP4.5. The display setting is the Blackmagic NTSC – 8bit, when I use the Blackmagic NTSC/23.98 – 8 bit setting I just get a still frame while the timeline plays back. I am running FCP 5 under Tiger with all system and quicktime updates. Decklink 5.0b2 driver, had the same experience with the b1 driver. Decklink extreme card. Sequence is the NTSC/23.98 – 8 bit easy setup, all footage native to setup. Dual 2ghz G5, 4.5 gigs ram. Playback from raid.

  Anyone with similar problems? Any help here?
