  • Frame delay when using TC Burn?

Posted by Gary Adcock on February 10, 2010 at 6:54 pm

    hey

I had someone ask me this and I do not know since I do not have a 170.

When I turn on the TC burn on the HPX170 and record the clip (to either VTR Exchange or KiPro) with RP188 TC source, the recorded clip’s source timecode in FCP is off by 1 frame.
Recorded clip is 1 frame late.

Has anyone else ever run into this?
the Varicams (H-tape model and later) allow for frame delay, but have never heard this…

You can test it out with my 170.
