May 19, 2019 at 5:40 pmI saw this old post of 2011.
We are in 2019 and I see this feature does not exist in VP 16 as well.
Possibly they feel this is not needed. But the audio makes a difference than to look for the character’s lip movement.
Any inputs? – Thanks -

May 19, 2019 at 6:05 pmI’m not sure I would find this type of feature of any value. I use the old fashion clapper method and there is Plural Eyes for those times when clapping do not fit the shoot. Hearing a frame worth of audio is not going to help me sync. But, that’s just me.
Best Regards……George

May 19, 2019 at 8:01 pmI have since moved to the Mac and edit with Final Cut Pro X and it has frame accurate audio scrubbing and it does come in handy at times. I guess it depends on what style of video you are editing. If you do a lot of video and audio syncing I could see it being useful.

May 20, 2019 at 2:22 amThanks John. As you mentioned it helps based on the type of video where the shooting is not organized with a clap board or “Action”. Some sounds leave a good cue for a edit start/ end. FCP is one of the top rated editors and it having this feature as you say is a good testimony for the users need. Hope VP wakes up for long timers like us. – Thanks

November 3, 2019 at 2:59 pmI’d love this feature, it’s impossible to make the leap from premiere to vegas without this.
