Frame by Frame Animation on HDTV
The technical problem I am having seems a bit strange and kind of hard to explain.
I am 2D animator working in frame by frame animation. Either I work with 1 drawing for every 2 frames of video, or 1 drawing for every 4 frames of video. My time-line is usually 15fps, but sometimes 29.97fps. The movies look fine on the computer.
Just got an HDTV a few months ago, and a few days ago watched my older movies on it. Most of the movies are black lines on white backgrounds. The problem is that I am seeing trails of frames when played on HDTV, via a disc in my DVD player(kind of like ghost frames of the previous frames). The original file was a Quicktime burnt onto a DVD-R
Has anyone experiences something like this before? Not sure if this is the correct forum to be placing this thread. And I apologize if I am not explaining my problem clearly.
Sorry, there were no replies found.
