Frame accuracy??
Hey gang,
we are having a output frame issue with our FCP2 setup. We are running a Kona 3 as our I/O on a G5. Here’s the problem. When we output to our HDW-1800 we set it up to begin the output at 1hr. Whats actually recorded on the tape is one frame late. The tape deck is going into record at 1hr but nothing is being layed to tape until 1 frame later.
Also when we do an insert to tape,FCP adds 1 black frame after our outpoint to our tape. Any suggestions?

I’m assuming in your edit to tape window you don’t have the add black box checked to extend for one frame? Try making a self contained movie and outputting.
