Fractal Noise jumps when moving too slow.
Hi,
I have been trying to create a background using Fractal Noise.
the fractal looks pretty good, exactly what the client wants, but I’m having issues with it moving so slow that it has a “jerky” motion, it isn’t smooth.
My settings areFractal Type: Dynamic
Noise Type: Block
Contrast: 23
Brightness 9
Uniform Scaling Off
Scale width: 216
Scale Height: 8060
Then I have keyframes set up on the offset turbulence:
-444,960 @ frame 0
1668,960 @ time 59.28
Complexity:0
Evolution:
0 @ frame 0
15x +0.0 degrees @ 59.28
Cycle Evolution onI know that’s a lot, but i can’t figure out, how to make the fractal move that slow, without it jerking. I even tried to speed it up by 2…basically moving the keyframes up by 30 seconds, then pulling that into a new comp and using time Remapping to slow it back down by 50%. And turned on the frame motion and then pixel motion, but nothing seems to work. It still continues to have the jerky, unsmooth motion. It’s poppy.
any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Bryan
