FPS on iMovie
I am putting together an instructional video — mostly slides from Keynote (turned into jpg), with a few video clips interspersed. I have done some quick run-throughs on iMovie and get fizzy edges to the words and images. Looks like of amateurish. Lots of people have the same fuzziness but I’d like to be crisp.
The problem, I am told, is that the frames per second is too high. If I could reduce the fps for the slides portion of the presentation I’d be in good shape.
As a test, I reduced the fps to 1 when I exported (“shared”) my Keynote presentation as a QuickTime movie. My God, what a huge difference! It went from totally fuzzy and crappy looking to nice and crisp and clean looking. The problem is that I’d like to add some audio and so I can’t just use the QuickTime video.
QUESTION: Is there a way to reduce the fps for iMovie?I have iMovie ’09 (version 8.0.6)?
Many thanks, all!
