I am curious about the process of taking a long shot such as clouds rolling overhead of a mountain coming out of the shadows as the sun rises. I have a 550d with magic lantern installed so I can adjust the fps to pretty much whatever I want. My question is roughly how many FPS are recommended for this kind of shot. There is a classic imagine of the shadows on El Capitan in Yosemite going away as the sun came up.

Also, what kind of Workflow is involved in this? I have use SV12. I have tried to use the “CTRL” to compress and extend clips but I haven’t been very happy with the results. Was I missing a step? Any suggested plugins?

    Thanks Guys!!
