I am not exactly sure why you are rendering a 50fps result from 25fps source video, but what you are getting is expected.

Vegas is blending two frames from the source to create the extra frames you wanted in your result. Going from 25 to 50fps Vegas has to create twice as many frames of video as the source. The frame blending algorithm in Vegas is not the best out there.

You can disable resampling in the event properties. If you do this Vegas will not blend two frames to create another it will just duplicate an existing frame. The blurring will not happen, but there will not be any additional information in the video.

Why not just render at the same frame rate as your source video? 25fps in this instance.

As i said (probably not clearly enough, sorry for that), i have 2 versions of image sequence – 1 with 160 frames for 50fps clip, and the other with 80 frames for 25fps clip. And i tried to render 25fps video out of both sources with various settings (including render/project properties/media each set to 25fps at the same time; the second video in the archive is the result).
The reason i need 50fps is because further video will use frames exported from the game at a rate of 50fps (Worms Armageddon).

Just checked the result with disabled resample, its MUCH better, although still not good enough.

By the way, im working on 4:3 monitor set to 1024×768. No idea if it matters but worth to mention i guess.

Thanks for reply, i hope theres more i can do, though.
