FPC7 project takes an hour to open

ok, just bought ClipWrap. I’ll transcode all footage into ProRes (though the Divergent Media site says AIC is fine).

Unfortunately I already imported all the clips into FCP and made subclips. Should I transcode then start a new project importing those files? I haven’t started editing.

thanks, last dumb question. Once transcoded into ProRes would I import them into a new project or log and transfer?

Import. Once they are ProRes, you just import. Or drag into a bin
