Why are you using 1.1? AE CS3 ships with Keylight 1.2.

    Hi Dave
Thanks for responding to my post, I hope this will answer all your Questions about camera and footage spec.

    Camera is JVC MG505 3CCD

    Pixel aspect ratio:
    Standard NTSC video 4:3 interlaced
    Type: MPEG Movie
    File Size: 122.3 MB
    Image Size: 720 x 480
    Pixel Depth: 720
    Frame Rate: 29.97
Source Audio Format: 48000 Hz – compressed – Stereo
Project Audio Format: 48000 Hz – 32 bit floating point – Stereo
    Total Duration: 00;01;48;02
Average Data Rate: 1.1 MB / second
    Pixel Aspect Ratio: 0.9

In addition to this here are my System spec

    OS: XP Pro SP3 32bit
processor: AMD Phenom 9500 quad core
    Ram: 4GB
    AGP: Nvidia 8600GT
    harddisk: 750GB Sata II

I beleive it has something to do with memory & chahe although the maximum ram chache size was set to 60% which is a standard.

I did try something yeasterday, by decreasing the maximum ram chache size from 60% to 40% I was able to render it without error but is there any other way around ? many thanks

    Hi Dave

I probably am not as good as you guys are in posting and responding to forums because I did miss out a very important bit that is the file created by this camera is actually MOD which in other words is MPEG 2 but is not readable in after effects at all.

So in order to make it work with AE I got a dll files from a friend that makes Adobe Premiere CS3 read this file and then save it in any format, I choose to save it as AVI no compression applied will this make any difference ?
