I found a old Sony PVM 2030 from, laugh, 1987 down in our creative department that was being used to play reels. Don’t ask me why but it sure did look cool hanging from our industrial ceiling. I think someone brought this over from their last shop for a nostalgic look. Anyway, the TV stopped working about a year ago and my question is, would it be expensive or even make sense to fix it for my use in editorial work. Its pretty old and dusty.

If the Sony could be fixed, would it still be accurate for color corrections and all that fun stuff. Is there a market for these or are they just garbage?
