forward select tool selects ALL clips in all tracks
I’ve seen more than one article explaining all of the tools in Premiere Pro and they all say that to select all of the clips in a track you should use the forward select tool and click in the track of clips you want to select, but when I use it, it selects all of the clips in all of the tracks, including the audio tracks. Is this a bug in cc 2015 that hopefully will be fixed in cc 2016 or is that the way it’s supposed to work? The same thing happens when I use backward select tool.

Thanks, Dave. Doesn’t seem to negate the point of the select forward tool? It’s easier to click to the right of the tracks and drag to the left and select all the clips than to have to lock all the other tracks, then choose the select forward tool. Or am I misunderstanding what you mean by deactivating the unwanted tracks?

then they changed it to default to double arrow….
