Forum/Site update?
I’ve been put off posting/using CreativeCow for a long time due its very old layout and general setup.
Criticism rarely goes down well so I apologise but it’s genuinely for the benefit of the site. The interface is very clunky and unuserfriendly.
I’ve started to use the forums now as it’s clear they are a great resource and I’m keen to add my own input to help others but I’m still a bit put off by the setup.
Is there any plan to take the site in to the 21st century?
I need only to point to the likes of https://mograph.net/board/ https://www.reduser.net/forum/forum.php and https://www.c4dcafe.com/ipb/index which have much easier-to-navigate setups.

Yes we have been working on an update. No it will not be like reduser or any of those PHPbulletinboard things which we think suck even worse than we do, so if you like those kinds of sites, use them because we never plan to go to that kind of interface. You like them, we don’t.
What we have up our sleeve is a lot different but nothing like that.

No worries. If it’s not for you then that’s your prerogative but it would be great to see something new.
Like I said, great forums, just a bit clunky to navigate.

On that point we agree, Stephen. I am sorry it’s taking longer than we wished but the last couple of years have been pretty hard on me as I have had chronic ear infections for the last 20 years and they have become almost non-stop for the last 10.
We are working on things and I am healing up and will start a new round of development shortly. Trust me, I want to see it updated probably worse than you do.

These things always take longer than you’d like even in good health.
