Forums mixed up?
Posted by Rafael Amador on November 3, 2012 at 1:24 amI’m seen post from FCP and FCP Basic forums showing up in “FCPX the debate”.
They are technical questions without any relation with FCPX or “..the debate”.
May be a problem in the system?
Cheers,

November 3, 2012 at 2:09 amHello Rafael,
The forum has been converted to a hybrid forum that pulls from other forums based on certain keywords. The keywords are shown as checkboxes at the top of the forum. Even the post you just made had FCPX in it so it shows up.

So is this a new feature?
It totally dissipates the focus of this excellent forum.
So there are these tick boxes below the title header of this forum, these seem to be unique to this forum as they are not to be found on theFCPX Techniques page, what is the purpose of them?
‘Apple FCPX or Not: The Debate’ and ‘Apple FCPX Techniques’ work really well together, the one a platform for innovation, NLE musings and debate and the other a practical problem solving forum.
Lets hope this a glitch.

November 3, 2012 at 3:57 pmThis was an administrative “typo” on my part. Sorry about that. I was trying to save our heavily-burdened IT department a few steps, and just clicked the wrong thing.
I pledge that I will return to burdening our IT department. 🙂
My apologies. I agree, Mark — this is the last forum on the COW that needed any tinkering.
Thanks,
