I plan to use a PC laptop for offloading. I have a 250GB external drive with FW400, USB2.0 and SATA interfaces. I plan to use either FW or USB for the connection to laptop. How should I format this drive? FAT32? NTFS? Does either work? I’ll be connecting this to my G5 to import P2 to FCP. Thanks.

Thanks. I came to that conclusion, since NTFS is read-only on OS-X. Jan, when will there be P2 drivers for Windows Vista? I’m having a heck of a time finding a new laptop that will run right on XP. Thank you!

FAT32 cannot transfer files greater than 4GB. Don’t forget about Unix.

Jan: I don’t know if you’re still following this old thread, but I’m unable to use the P2 Viewer on a Vista system. When I try to start the Viewer, I get the following error message: “The required audio hardware cannot be found on your computer.”

    Any help?
