    Hi,

I shot a commercial on a 5D. The final video must be delivered H.264 MPEG-4 QT .MOV file. Should I just convert to ProRes to edit and then Export using QT Compressor to these settings? What is the cleanest way to accomplish editing and delivering this please??

Convert to Prores 422 or LT (they say HQ is too much) via log and transfer if you leaved the card structure intact if not use mpge streamclip or compressor.
Then edit with that and convert it at the end to your delivery codec, you can do it with compressor or vía final.
    Good luck.

if you are using FCP7 or under, definitely convert to ProRes422.
LT is a bit harder to grade, & might not be great for graphics.

that’ll be your master, then make whatever deliverables you need from that.
