Formats that support 16 bit render?

Maybe I should say- Is there any format that’s not an image sequence that supports 16 bit renders? I want 1 file.

There are a couple of Quicktime add-on codecs that support 16 bpc depths. For example, None16 (ring a bell?) is one of them. It’s free. It’s distributed by Digital Anarchy. Sheer Video and Microscosm are other two, paid ones. Then, YUV codecs like Apple Uncompressed and BlackMagic (also free from their site) are 10 bpc, which is what you use when you want high quality YUV (there are no tape based broadcast formats beyond this color depth).
