    Hey,

    I have to make a ‘4×3 hardmatted = 16×9’ in dvd pro
I don’t understand what this means or how to make one…can someone help me with this or tell me where I can find information on it, I’m still studying and we’re given no resource materials so have to try and work it out…

[hannah goldie] “I have to make a ‘4×3 hardmatted = 16×9’ in dvd pro”
    Tht’s confusing.
Not sure if that means “16×9 Letterboxed” or “4×3 Pillarboxed”.
the first case consists in putting 16×9 stuff in a 4×3 sequence. The top and bottom of the picture will be filled with black and the picture will display display properly as 16×9 in 4×3 monitors.

The second case consists in putting 4×3 stuff in a 16×9 sequence. The left and right of the picture will be filled with black and the picture will display display properly as 4×3 in 16×9 monitors.
