I am shooting a show for google TV on a Sony NX5U and editing in FCP. I want to know what the best shooting format would be. And what I mean by best is easiest to deal with it. Thanks

The camera shoots AVCHD. You are pretty much limited to shooting the format it is designed to shoot.
Import as ProRes via Log and Transfer
