  Format of imported clip

  I have a quicktime movi that is 1920 by 1080 px and in the DVCPRO 1080 codec.
  When i import this clip into FCP HD it has only a size of 1280 by 1080 (but is actually not 1080 in height but smaller).
  To fill the Canvas of my sequence, wich is 1920*1080 i have to scale it.
  I tried all kinds of sequence and capture presets and settings and cannot change the properties of
  the clip in the browser.

  What can I do to get the clip in its original format(1920*1080) into FCP?
