i have to do some fixes to a short film that is sitting in a Final Cut Pro timeline. i am wondering
what the best workflow is. i was thinking this :

export the pieces that need fixing with the DV/DVCPRO NTSC setting as it is on the original clips.
work with it in a composition using the animation codec
export with animation and re-render to DV/DVCPRO in the Final Cut timeline

my thinking was that the animation codec would keep the quality from degrading throughout
the process. is that correct or should i just stick to DV/DVCPRO all the way through ?

    thanks in advance.
