I have a 8 minute long video that I shot and edited in HD In FCP7. I need to send it to a satellite tv station that does not broadcast in HD. What is the best compression (through FCP or Compressor) to use for them? And can I send it through email or should I use a flash drive? Thank You.

YOu need to ask them what they want. Only they can tell you that.

The most common answer these days is to do an FTP transfer to the station, either privately, or thru a service like DG Systems. Put the video in the format the client wants, or DG can bill you to convert it for you. personally, I’d rather supervise my own conversions.
