So you would need to purchase 2 versions. One for After Effects and one for FCP.
Is that correct. -
No, with BCC 4 it comes with an installer for both apps. Not sure about BCC 5 as I have not purchased them yet.
You might have to purchase two sets now since FCP has switched to FX Plugs. BCC 4 still works in my copy of FCP 6 so I have not had to update them yet.

Yes, v5 requires two sets of plugins, and boy is that a drag. 500 smackers worth to be exact. And that’s on sale!

Yeah, the “advantage” of apple changing over their plug-in structure so it doesn’t match AE’s anymore.
