    That’s with QT Player.
Just open the Export window (Cmd-E), and instead of selecting “Movie to Quick Time”, hit the “Options” button, and select “Movie to MPEG-4”.
In the pict you can see the QT Export window below the “Mpeg-4 Export Settings” window.

Thanks Rafael, do you have any settings for a PAL video please?

    Well, frame rate: 25fps.
The rest depending of the file size/quality you want.
Key-frames always AUTO, and down in the Video Options: Multipass.

    Thank you,
of course, but I was thinking about the correct aspect ratio.
Which dimensions will be correct for PAL?

    Cheers

If you want to make a web video from a PAL movie:
    – If the stuff is PAL 4×3: 768×576
    – If 16×9: 1024×576.
